  • Spent a lovely few days at number 88 with my daughter and dog last week the place is so nice. The house had everything you could need, and is so cosy and quiet which is just what we needed after a stressful few months.
    Julie made it so easy to book in and was very responsive to emails checking we were ok and when I couldn’t find some items responded straight away.. thank you Julie for letting us stay we will be back x

  • We visited for a weekend at the end of January, and had a lovely time. 3 adults (me, my husband, and our son), and our 2 year old Cockapoo; and we all felt welcomed. There were throws so Duke could snuggle up on the sofa and bed with us. We had a lovely relaxing break, we were able to park the car nearby and it was a very short walk to the shop and pub. Wi-Fi and the TV worked well, and the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils and dishes we needed.
    Communication with Julie was great, she was friendly and professional, and we were kept informed throughout the booking.

  • Immaculate cottage with everything you will need (plus more!). Fully equipped kitchen with cookery books and baking kitchenware, washing machine useful if staying any length of time. Centrally heated so nice and toasty during the miserable weather. Very comfortable with plenty of seating for all the family. Beds comfortable, slept very well. Fabulous waterfall shower. Highly recommended 5 ⭐

  • Had another few days at the cottage leading up to Christmas. As usual, everything was spot on. Love coming here and so do the grandchildren. Very close to beautiful beaches and, of course, the cafe just a short walk along the beach. We'll definitely be back for more in 2026.

  • Had a lovely week for October half term with our grandson . The weather was great too. The cottage is lovely, clean and comfortable and has everything you need. Our grandson who is 9 loved it and can recommend the archery shed for the kids . Thankyou Julie for our stay 😍

  • Just back from a long weekend staying at No 88. Such a lovely comfortable well appointed house. Everything looks brand new, kitchen, showeroom , all furniture and fittings. the bay resort is really lovely, the onsite pub is excellent and to be able to walk straight onto the beach with our furry friend was terrific. Very well equipped cottage with all you could need and contact with the owner excellent. Will absolutely return! Thankyou Julie and Paul.

  • We had an amazing week at number 88 - we went for walks on the beach every day, enjoyed the variety of activities in the area (watching the sea birds at Bempton, getting the landtrain to Bridlington, eating at the Stained glass centre, visiting Filey Animal and Bird Zoo, fish and chips at Inghams were all particular highlights) - the kids also loved the swimming pool onsite. The house was clean, modern and comfortable - perfect for relaxing once the kids have gone to bed. Will be returning.

  • Number 88 is a delightful cottage, it has modern decor and a fabulous kitchen and bathroom. It is also very well situated with a large and lovely beach within a short walking distance. We enjoyed going for walks along the beach, swimming in the sea and soaking up the spectacular views. We also loved exploring the local area, which is lovely with lots to do. Julie is very attentive to her guests needs, we had everything we needed at the cottage to make it feel like home for the week. The cottage is very good value for money and really comfortable. We would love to return again sometime. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay x

  • Just had a wonderful stay at No.88. Wish we could have stayed longer.
    Has everything you need, definitely a ‘home from home’.
    Perfectly placed for accessing the beach, easy walk down, save some puff for the return journey.
    Lovely countryside, country pubs, not forgetting The Piebald Inn.

  • We loved our first stay in June 2025 and are planning our second! Just such a nice place to stay, with everything you need and all done to a high standard. Very close to all amenities which we appreciated. We really liked the feel of the whole site and of Filey itself. We had our nine month puppy with us so didn’t venture further than Filey itself but next time we may go a bit further as per Julie’s recommendations.
    The cottage has literally everything you need for a wonderful holiday and smells gorgeous! You can tell such care has gone into everything.
    Would definitely recommend!

  • We have recently had our second break here at number 88, and already booked our third !! We love the location, close to all the site amenities and not too far to walk to the beach. The beach equipment and trolley are a godsend. Well stocked kitchen with more pans and utensils than I have at home.
    The only thing I might suggest for the future is a slightly bigger bed, but that’s just a personal preference.

  • We had a lovely week in this gorgeous cottage. We were lucky enough to get a few sunny days but even without there was plenty to do and the local area is beautiful even in the wind and rain! The cottage was spotless and very homely with everything we needed and the closeness the the facilities (being a stones throw from the pub, pool, shop and arcade) was wonderful. We will definitely be back!

  • Had a lovely long weekend stay at this beautiful cottage accommodation. Love the new kitchen which is equipped for everything you could need. Beautiful new bathroom walk in shower. The outside space is great for an evening drink in the sun after a day walking either on the nearby Filey beach or one of the costal paths. Always comfortable here and look forward to staying again.   • 4th to 7th April 2025
    Another wonderful stay at No 88, the new bathroom is very classy and the overhead shower is a great addition.
    We had great weather which made for long lovely walks on the impressive Filey beach, just a 5 minute walk from the front door.
    Enjoyed the walk along the Acorn route to Hunmanby Gap, with a cheeky bacon cob at the cafe. Great views onto the beach.
    Had a lovely meal at the Piebald Inn Hunmanby, they have a large selection of homemade pies, highly recommended.
    Will definately be back for another stay.

  • Just returned from our third stay in this lovely cottage. Had a fabulous time, there is plenty to do at The Bay, and a few minutes walk to a lovely beach, coastal walks and a meadow. There is everything you could want in the cottage to ensure you have a very comfortable stay. Will definitely be returning again.

  • Been coming to number 88 for abot 7 years may be more and I can't express how perfect a holiday let it is !!,🎈❤️.I🙏 we are never missed on having a time out of staying here because the popularity is going to be so strong .
    Julie's prices are really good for the standards in the property and of the use of facilities that's provided is second to non,and all provided for our comfort through our the stay.
    We even had a fantastic delivered by Julie during the hottest day of the year that was such a suprise what more could you ask for .
    Julie cares that the home is accomodating for her guests and in return ,I hope the visitors enjoy the stay but also take care of the home and goods for us all to enjoy .

  • Another wonderful stay - always feels
    Like home . The weather doesn’t really
    Matter when you have such a wonderful base as No88.
    We visited the model village this time which was lovely and plenty of walks on the beach , it’s a must from the house to walk along the beach and if you are up to it a perfect walk into Filey. Ice cream parlour In Filey is delicious even in the rain . We tried Piebald inn a short drive away and it was the best pie even for the dog but be sure to book.
    We love No88 and can’t wait to go back

  • My family have stayed here several times and we're looking forward to our next stay in May. Beautiful, cosy and relaxing home, with everything you could need wifi, dishwasher, washing machine etc. The site is great, a short walk from the beach, restaurant, shop, pharmacy and everything else you'd need on site. Very dog friendly site and dog friendly beach. Peaceful site but plenty to do. Julie's prices are also very reasonable. We love number 88.

  • This lovely cottage is a home from home. Clean and comfortable. There's lots for families to do and it's also nice to go for quiet, relaxing break just as a couple. Looking forward to our next break this week. Highly recommended.
